The Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme- payment deadline for April is today

Employers can now go online to claim cash grants worth up to 80% of wages, capped at £2,500 a month per worker. 5000 HMRC staff will operate the scheme, which is expected to help thousands of firms across the UK.

If you are looking to receive payment from HMRC by the end of April, you MUST submit your claim by midnight tonight, as it takes 6 working days to process the claims.

Employers can apply here https://tax.service.gov.uk/coronavirus-job-retention-scheme

Furthermore, a new tool has now been launched to help you find coronavirus financial support for your business. You may be eligible for loans, tax relief and cash grants; this support finder will help you to see what support is available for you and your business: https://bit.ly/3cv0yHR

COVID-19 - Business Resilience Survey

Rochdale BID is actively engaging with BID networks across the country to lobby for the best possible support for the High Street. Attention is also turning to consider how we can best support the High Street to bounce back when restrictions are lifted.

The BID has been asked to pass on this survey to all our businesses to complete on behalf of the High Street Task Force to respond in reference to the Governments response to support businesses.

We would be grateful is businesses can spare a few minutes to complete the survey.  Click on the link below to complete.
