UPDATE ON EFFECTS OF COVID-19 ON ROCHDALE TOWN CENTRE 13/1/2021

Rochdale BID want to keep you updated with the latest news, information and advice during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Third national lockdown grant

If you have already received either a National lockdown grant (for the period 5 November 2020 to 2 December 2020) or a Tier 3 Localised Restrictions Support Grant (for the period 2 December 2020 to 30 December 2020) and have been forced to close the Council will make payment of the grant automatically and you do not need to apply again.

If you haven't received either a National lockdown grant (for the period 5 November 2020 to 2 December 2020) or a Tier 3 Localised Restrictions Support Grant (for the period 2 December 2020 to 30 December 2020) but have been forced to close because of the borough being placed in Tier 4 you need to apply.

Donate a laptop

Rochdale Town Centre Businesses Improvement District wants to help our next generation of local entrepreneurs.  That's why we've decided to support local and national campaigns to re-purpose otherwise redundant laptops and tablets that sit unused in cupboards, drawers and under beds across Rochdale so that they can be used to overcome persistent barriers to online learning which is necessary to keep us all safe for the time being.

We are happy to collect and we'll ensure any donated equipment is passed on to those school children who need it most. We'll ensure any equipment is wiped back to factory settings as we know data security is of paramount concern.

Message or email us at paul@rochdalebid.co.uk  should you wish to donate any equipment or if you have any queries.
