Town hall opens doors for Rochdale Wedding Show

Hundreds of brides and grooms-to-be and their friends and families will be in Rochdale this Sunday when the Town Hall stages the latest Rochdale Wedding Show.

Doors open from 11am to 4pm, with the event including a catwalk fashion show at 12:30 and 2.30pm as well as everything you need to organise your perfect wedding with the help of more than 45 of the region’s finest suppliers. There will be local experts specialising in everything from stunning dresses and flowers, to classic cars, photography and of course cake, to name but a few.

Rochdale’s stunning Grade I-listed Town Hall is always a popular wedding venue and its picturesque gardens are the perfect backdrop for wedding photos. Visitors will also get the chance to see the recently refurbished Register Office and ceremony room.

In between wedding planning, visitors can also pop into the new Clock Tower Dining Room for a complimentary glass of bubbly!

Councillor Janet Emsley, cabinet member for culture, health and wellbeing at Rochdale Borough Council, said: “It’s going to be a wonderful day, another fabulous showcase for some great local companies and a great day out for brides and grooms, their friends and families. What’s more, it’s free, so just come along and enjoy the day.  It’s also the perfect opportunity to take afternoon tea in our new Clock Tower Dining Room, see our register office and view the ceremony room.”
