GMP Rochdale Neighbourhood team will be conducting focused activity in the Town centre in the build up to Seasonal celebrations during December.
The team will be working alongside partner agencies and Pubwatch to ensure that people visiting the town centre remain safe and enjoy the festivities in a responsible manner.
The joint work will include working with Local authority staff to ensure standards are maintained in the evening and night time economy.
GMP are also supporting and linking in with the Street Pastor’s who regularly attend the town centre to offer support and help to those in need. In recognition of the excellent work they do and to support the scheme GMP Rochdale have recently awarded funds from the Proceeds of Crime monies taken from offenders to support activity in the coming weeks and months.
