ART DECO SHOPPING EMPORIUM TO BECOME A “JEWEL” IN ROCHDALE’S RETAIL CROWN
An iconic art deco building in the centre of Rochdale’s niche-shopping area is poised to become one of the North West’s most fashionable retail destinations.

“This is a unique opportunity for specialist retailers. It promises to become a jewel in the town’s retail crown, said Mr Martin Ballard, project manager for the developers, Rochdale Town Centre Management.
“This is a unique quality destination and our research show us that the five first-floor units would be ideal for a vintage clothing retailer, high quality gifts, accessories and companies selling handmade cosmetics and the like,” said Mr Ballard.
The five first-floor retail units will also be complemented by a coffee shop with a panoramic view of the high street, adding a café culture ambiance to the shopping experience.
“Cheetham Street is now generally regarded and accepted as one of the town centre’s most popular shopping destinations with exclusive lingerie, swimwear and shoe shops offering beautiful and exclusive European brands, “ said Kelly Turner-Mitchell, Director of the 25 Ten boutique.
“The retailers within the Rochdale Emporium will enhance and complement the existing neighbouring businesses creating a destination with individuality and allowing for cooperation in terms of collective marketing as a niche market quarter.” added Kelly.
