Local businesses get chance to ‘Feel Good’

Businesses in the borough who want to get involved with this years Rochdale Feel Good Festival are being reminded they need to register their interest now, to ensure they don’t miss out.

Rochdale Town Centre Management are encouraging businesses to consider staging their own mini event, demonstration or promotion, and in return will promote it in the festival programme to be launched in June. There may also be the possibility for local traders to have a stall or stand on the big festival market and food traders are especially encouraged to apply.

Event Manager Debbie O’Brien said she is looking for imaginative ideas to ensure as many businesses as possible benefit from the thousands of people expected to attend the festival this summer:

“Once again Rochdale will be a hive of activity with the very best in live music and great food, plus a few surprises. There is a great opportunity for local shops and businesses to host their own event as part of the festival. We are keen to involve as many as possible to make Rochdale Feel Good Festival another success.”

Celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo has already been announced as one of the star guests, with more acts due to be announced later this month.

The celebration of entertainment, food and culture, now in its third year, will include warm up events in both Middleton and Heywood, prior to the free main attractions in Rochdale town centre on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 August.
