With less than a month to go, three more acts have been added to the line up for the Rochdale Feel Good Festival.
Karima Francis will appear at Bar 5 on Saturday 14 August. The critically acclaimed singer-songwriters blend of soul and rock music has been compared to Alanis Morissette and Tracy Chapman. She released her debut album last year, along with the single ‘Again’, which was ‘Single of the Week’ on the iTunes website. Her television appearances include ‘Later with Jools Holland’ and in 2009 she was named in the national music press as one of the best emerging acts in Britain. Karima, plus special guests will perform an afternoon of music from 12pm – 3pm at Bar 5 on South Parade in Rochdale town centre.
She’ll be joined at the festival by The Hidden Revolution, who’ll be appearing at East Bar on the Saturday night from around 10 pm. The ever popular Mancunian band draw on influences including Queens of the Stone Age, Jeff Buckley and Led Zepplin.
Also taking to the stage at East Bar on South Parade will be The Ruby Suns – an indie/pop group from New Zealand.
These acts join previously announced festival headliners ‘The Lightning Seeds’, plus ‘The Herbaliser’, pop singer Kirsty Almeida, The Travelling Band, Ellen and the Escapades, Catherine Tyldesley, The Fellons and many more.
The Rochdale Feel Good Festival will be staged on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 August.
In addition to a full programme of live music, the free festival will include a food tent and 2 day market. Celebrity chefs Gino D’Acampo, Aazam Ahmad and Andrew Nutter will appear in the festivals celebrity kitchen, sponsored by Love Food Hate Waste.
