Feeling good this Saturday at festival warm up

 The countdown to this years Rochdale Feel Good Festival officially kicks off on Saturday with a very special warm up show at Heywood Civic Centre.

Singing sensation Catherine Tyldesley and acclaimed soul vocalist Larry Edwards will be the star guests at a Motown Night on Saturday 17 July.

Catherine’s magical voice has captivated audiences across the country. She’s also an accomplished actress and has just been announced as a new face in ‘Emmerdale’. The 26 year old will join the ITV1 soap next month. She also played the lead role in the BBC1 drama ‘Lilies.’ The rapidly rising star will also soon be on our screens in ‘Shameless.’ Catherine will be accompanied by Larry Edwards, lead singer with the band ‘Souled as Seen’ and recognised as one of the best soul singers in the business.

The duo will be performing classic songs from the Motown and Atlantic soul era, plus a few party favourites, alongside some of the finest Motown tracks with local DJ Tom Corbett.

Doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets are £6 on the door.

The Feel Good Festival takes place in Rochdale town centre on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 August. It will be headlined by The Lightning Seeds, with other acts including Kirsty Almedia, The Herbaliser, Ellen and the Escapades and The Travelling Band. The festival will include live music across seven indoor venues, an outdoor stage and a 2 day quality food market. Celebrity chefs Gino D’Acampo, Andrew Nutter and Aazam Ahmad will appear in the festivals celebrity kitchen, sponsored by Love Food Hate Waste.
