

Rochdale is easily accessible by car, train, and bus.
From the M62
Rochdale Railway Station is on the Caldervale Line, which is managed by Northern Rail. Trains run to and from Manchester Victoria, Bolton, Wigan Wallgate, Bradford Interchange, and Leeds.
Rochdale Railway Station is on Station Road, Rochdale, just a short walk from the town centre. Exit the Railway Station and at the mini-roundabout take the second exit (continuing straight ahead). This is Maclure Road. At the end of the road, turn right onto A640/Drake Street. Continue to follow Drake Street until the bottom of Drake Street, then turn right onto Constantine Rd and turn right onto Baillie St. Welcome to Rochdale!
Rochdale Bus Station runs a number of services to and from a range of destinations including: Accrington, Ashton-under-Lyne, Bolton, Burnley, Bury, Halifax, Manchester, Oldham, Rawtenstall, and Todmorden.
Rochdale Bus Station also offers local bus services which run within the Rochdale borough and travel to many local destinations including: Castleton, Heywood, Hollingworth Lake, Kirkholt, Littleborough, Middleton, Milnrow, Neywhey and Norden.
There are current plans to extend the Manchester Metrolink light rail trams from Manchester through Oldham to Rochdale. The trams between Manchester and Oldham are due to commence in autumn 2011 and onwards to Rochdale in spring/summer 2012 where it will arrive and leave from Rochdale Train Station on Station Road. The Metrolink will then extend into Rochdale Town Centre, which is expected to be completed in 2014.
